SPAIN

Hola, mis amigos!

Wow. I’m still floating from the magic of Spain. What an experience. Spain was the last stop on my world tour, and I have to say, it was the perfect way to close out this journey. From the moment I landed, everything about Spain felt like a beautiful dream, one that I never wanted to wake up from.

It was my first time performing in Spain, and to say I was excited would be an understatement. Spain’s energy, culture, and—let’s be real—food, had me counting down the days. But what really took me by surprise was how deep the connection was with the fans here. They gave me everything, and I gave them everything right back.

I arrived in Barcelona first, and as soon as I got off the plane, I was hit by this incredible warmth—not just the weather (though that was perfect), but the vibe of the city itself. I immediately felt like I belonged. Barcelona is full of life, color, and history. The architecture, the streets, the beaches—it’s all so vibrant. But it’s not just a pretty place. There’s a rhythm here, a kind of heart-pounding pulse that’s impossible to ignore.

The whole city feels like it’s constantly dancing, and you can’t help but get caught up in it. I was staying near La Rambla, so every time I stepped out, I was surrounded by street performers, music, and the sound of people laughing and talking in a mix of languages. It’s a city that moves to its own beat, and I loved being a part of that energy, even if it was just for a little while.

Then came the performance. I’m telling you, the Spanish crowds are something else. The energy in that venue was absolutely unreal. The moment I stepped on stage, it felt like the crowd was already in sync with me. The love was immediate, and it was intense. I’ve had energetic crowds before, but there was something so pure and passionate about the way the Spanish fans connected with my music.

From the first song, they were singing along, hands up, completely losing themselves in the music. I’ve never felt more like I was part of something bigger than that night in Barcelona. And the love didn’t stop once the show was over. People were waiting outside, cheering, waving, even singing songs I had released years ago. It was humbling to see how deeply people here feel about music—and about the connection it creates. It’s not just about a performance; it’s about sharing a moment with thousands of people who are all there for the same reason. For the music.

And let me just tell you about the vibe of the Spanish crowd—they don’t just watch you, they feel you. They let every emotion pour out through the music. I’ve never had a crowd react like that before, and it was a reminder of why I love what I do.

I’m not sure how much time I actually spent in the hotel because honestly, Spain had me out and about, soaking in every moment. After the show in Barcelona, I had some time to explore, and trust me, I made the most of it. I wandered through the gothic streets of the old town, admiring the street art and picking up local handmade jewelry (which I may or may not have gone a little crazy buying). The architecture in Barcelona is so unique, especially places like the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell—Gaudí’s work is like nothing else I’ve ever seen, and it really made me appreciate the creativity that runs through the veins of this city.

But let’s talk about the food. Ay Dios mío, the food. Paella, churros, jamón ibérico... I think I might have gained 10 pounds in 5 days. There’s something magical about Spanish cuisine; every meal feels like a celebration. I spent hours in cafés, sipping café con leche, eating tapas, and just enjoying the slow pace of life. Spain taught me how to savor the little moments—whether it was enjoying the sun on my face in the middle of a plaza or taking a quiet stroll along the beach. It was a reminder that life doesn’t have to be fast-paced all the time.

One of the things I’ll carry with me from my time in Spain is the warmth of the people. Everywhere I went, I was welcomed with open arms and big smiles. There’s a sense of community here that’s so beautiful—it’s about family, friends, and celebrating life together. I felt like I was part of something much bigger than just a tour.

The Spanish fans were incredibly welcoming—during my time off, I met so many beautiful people who shared their stories, their culture, and their love for music. It was amazing to connect with them not just as an artist, but as a human being. We had conversations about everything from music to art to personal life, and it felt like we were just sitting around a table with good friends. There’s a real sense of warmth that I haven’t felt in many places, and it’s something that made Spain feel like a second home.

As I left Spain, I felt a sense of peace. It was the perfect way to end the world tour—not with a bang, but with a warm, lasting hug. The memories I made in Spain will stay with me forever. Whether it was performing in front of an incredibly passionate crowd, wandering through the streets of Barcelona, or sharing moments with new friends, Spain gave me more than I ever imagined.

Thank you, Spain, for welcoming me into your world and making me feel like part of your story. I’ll be back, no doubt about it.

Until next time,
Lily x

P.S. If you ever find yourself in Spain, don’t rush. Slow down, take it all in, and let the rhythm of the country guide you. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left.
